What to do when work dries up over summer
This is your action plan to emerge from the summer months with a healthy pipeline of new business and a reinvigorated business.
I used to hate June and July.
This would be the point where my clients would say
“I’m stopping for summer and don’t need you.”
And just like that I’d be staring at a financial loss in August and no promise of a strong run into the end of the calendar year.
It’s one of the reasons I switched my business from dependent on ad hoc private and corporate coaching and training work into a subscription model. That way I’d never worry about what money was coming in during August.
